Exploring Armenia: Lastiver

If you like hiking, mountains, forests and magical pathways, this place is for you. Lastiver is located in Tavush region, close to village Yenokavan.

It is approximately 3kms far away from Yenokavan, located in the gorge where you will find caves, incredibly beautiful nature and river Khachaghbyur.

The way to the river is through the forests and mountains. People call this place a jungle, as the forest is in its natural state and the path is very narrow.

The river Khachaghbyur will greet its visitors with enchanting waterfalls. Have a rest here and then walk to caves. During Mongol invasions in 13-14 centuries locals found their shelter here. The walls of the cave are decorated with a beautiful tracery reminding a wedding.
Now, enjoy the photos.
